Mentoring

Sharing Knowledge While Guiding Creative Journeys in the Arts

The Albany Children’s Theatre mentoring program is a unique opportunity for young people aged 15-35 to improve their skills and develop a deeper understanding of live performance-making under the guidance of a dedicated and professional mentor.

Our program offers the invaluable opportunity for one-on-one or small group mentoring sessions, delivered by experienced professional artists and arts workers who live and work in regional Western Australia. Our mentors bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, gained through years of practical experience in the arts industry. They are passionate about sharing their skills and insights with young people who share their love of the arts, and are committed to helping them reach their full potential.

Mentoring is available in a range of areas and the program aims to match applicants to their area of interest. Past participants have been mentored in stage management, arts administration, directing for the theatre, producing, costume design, and backstage technical skills.

We believe that mentoring is a powerful tool for learning and growth, and our experienced mentors are committed to helping young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the arts industry. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in the arts or simply want to develop your skills and pursue your passion, the Albany Children’s Theatre mentoring program can help you achieve your goals.
